From bottle to tube to box, Birkenstock Care Essentials packaging is designed to be minimal, sustainable and highly functional. Made right here in Germany, using 100% recyclable materials. This choice reflects our commitment to sustainability by significantly reducing our carbon footprint.

100% RECYCLED ALUMINUM

Our tubes are made of 100% recycled aluminum, sourced and manufactured in Germany. Using recycled aluminum allows us to achieve a 92% lower carbon footprint compared to virgin aluminum production and a 37% reduction compared to virgin plastic production.

Aluminum is renowned for its recyclability - it can be recycled infinitely without losing its quality. In fact, nearly 75% of all aluminum ever produced is still in use today, making it one of the most genuinely sustainable packaging materials available.

100% RECYCLABLE GLASS

We use 100% recyclable glass bottles and jars, sourced and manufactured in Germany, promoting sustainability and reducing waste.

FSC-CERTIFIED FOLDING BOXES

Our 100% recyclable folding boxes are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), ensuring they come from sustainable forest management practices. This means: zero deforestation, full protection of plant and animal species, respect of community rights and fair wage and work environments.

MADE IN GERMANY

All our packagings are Made in Germany and all BIRKENSTOCK Care Essentials products, except from the Pumice Stone, are manufactured in Germany to ensure the highest possible quality. Discover how our products are made:
