Using the Suede Brush
The brass bristled wired Suede Brush can be used to clean and restore the look and texture of the suede materials on your Birkenstocks.
Through wearing and enjoying your suede Birkenstocks, the material may collect dust and form markings. As suede is a textured material these markings and dust can often be brushed out with our Suede Brush. As our original footbed liners are made from suede, you can use the Suede Brush to restore and maintain the texture of the footbed liner.
Cleaning Suede Leather
Step 1: Before brushing the Suede Leather, ensure that the material is dry.
Step 2: Open the straps or remove the laces from your Birkenstocks.
Step 3: Using the Suede Brush, brush the suede using light pressure to restore the hairy texture and loosen dirt. If dirt starts to build up simply tap the shoes above a cloth to dispose of it.
Step 4: As an extra step to protect your Birkenstocks from future markings and dirt, apply the Footbed and Shoe Protector to the uppers.
