The Cork Sealer and Brush

1 min read

Our Cork Sealer ensures the integrity of your Birkenstock cork Footbeds.

If the Cork on your Footbed is looking dry, it is an indicator that it may need some Cork Sealer applied to ensure you can continue to enjoy your Birkenstocks.

Step 1: Shake the bottle well.

Step 2: Apply the Cork Sealer sparingly with the Brush in small strokes. Only apply the Cork Sealer to the cork of the Footbed.

Step 3: Once applied, wash the Brush in clean water to ensure it its clean of excess Cork Sealer.

Step 4: Clean the neck of the Cork Sealer bottle with a cloth before closing.

Step 5: Place your Birkenstocks aside to dry. Once dry you can apply additional coats as needed. Below are examples of each coating, the upper cork has the Cork Sealer applied while the lower cork is untreated.

One coat applied

Two coats applied

Three coats applied

Measuring Tips

We recommend using a pencil or a ballpoint pen.

A thick pen can distort the result.

It’s best to measure your feet in the evening as they may expand during the day.
